Randy Amiri, in his role as the co-founder and Chief Operating Officer of cpSphere, played a key role in strategizing product/service offerings that fulfill the market needs for small to mid-size businesses. Randy, after playing key role as a Principal and COO of cpSphere for the past 7 years with three other partners, decided to launch a management consulting company with a revised service offering – i2strategy.
Business Model: The focus of i2strategy will be more on Strategic activities for US companies to effectively compete in this globally competitive environment. The business model will be “Pay for Performance” for strategy implementation with a small flat fee after the initial assessment. The Initial assessment will be on a flat fee rate: comprehensive with deliverables of identifying Critical Success Factors, Strategic Alternatives, and Strategic Objectives with a three year financial projection.
Profile: Randy has 28+ years of experience in working with mid to large size manufacturing companies with 15+ years in executive level positions with full P&L responsibility, operations management, and business development. He has led ERP implementations and led company mergers to leverage resources. He specializes in combining existing and new resources to transform business culture and improve profitability. He has led businesses to increase plant performance significantly with fewer resources by utilizing strategies and techniques that are holistic, effective, efficient and sustainable. His strengths are in short and long term strategy planning, business positioning and aligning company’s resources to turn loss into profits. His approach is methodical and effective.
Ongoing Education: To further enhance his knowledge in Strategy and Leadership, Randy completed his Executive MBA Program at Pepperdine University in 2013. His team achieved number one position in Strategy Simulation Competition in the class and was acknowledged for putting together an effective business model and strategy by several Professors.
Community Service: Randy was an active board member of Anaheim Chamber of Commerce for 5 years. As a co-chair of the Economic development committee, Randy took the lead in putting together the framework for the committee along with vision, mission, Goals and Objectives and strategy deployment process. He also played a role as an Executive Chair by the request of City of Anaheim to re-launch their City Sister Program. The framework was successfully developed and presented to the city planning commission.
